The concept of destiny acknowledges the existence of a higher power. Worship, an ancient practice, serves as a means to connect with this divine force, granting strength and well-being. Throughout history, diverse individuals – gods, demons, sages and kings including ordinary people – have revered their tutelary deities, seeking prosperity. The Smritis and revered sages have ordained worship as a means to overcome obstacles and attain prosperity. Contemporary spiritual leaders, Siddhas and Sadhus, follow this tradition. However, worship can be daunting for the average person, because traditional rituals, mantras, and meditations outlined in sacred texts can be challenging to follow, making worship inaccessible to many. Recognizing this challenge and responding to the pleas of numerous devotees and Brahmins, Pandit Sri Braja Kishore Tripathy has authored the comprehensive book Pūjāsindhuḥ.
